We have had lots of fun this week outside enjoying the lovely sunshine. We have been finding out how colours change when they are mixed together, playing percussion instruments, bathing dolls and listening to lots of stories!
Play Group closes today for the Easter holidays and will reopen on Tuesday 23.4.19. Have fun and keep safe. There are still a few places available for after Easter and September if you know any two year olds who may like to join us for fun activities.
We have been very busy reading, building, pretending to be hairdressers and hand printing! We also found time to make jam tarts.
Many thanks to the adults who have stayed this week and helped the children decorate Easter bonnets and eggs. They look fabulous!
We are currently taking names for after Easter and September starting dates. If you know anyone who is two or who will be two why not ask them to pop in and have a look around!
We have been very busy at play group this last week enjoying lots of outdoor activities as well as looking at books, messy play and baking jam tarts. Most of though we have had lots of fun!
We have been very busy since we have come back to Play Group after the Christmas holidays.
Our topic this half term is “Dinosaurs”. We have finger printed some dinosaurs to put on the wall. We have learn’t that dinosaurs hatch out of eggs and that they lived a long time ago. We had some playdough eggs and when we opened them we found some dinosaurs!
When the weather has been good we have had lots of fun playing outside.
Messy play with the shaving foam was great fun!
When it has been too cold or wet to go out we have developed our moving and balancing skills in the hall.
Happy New Year and welcome back after the Christmas holidays!
We still have a few places available for two year olds in our setting so please let any friends and family know who may be interested.
We have all settled in well after two weeks off and have enjoyed getting back into routine. It is good to see all our friends again.
Today we looked at pictures of dinosaurs and then finger painted our own dinosaur. It was very messy but fun!
