Welcome back after half term!  It was lovely to see all our friends again.  We made pancakes this week and listened to the story of The Run Away Pancake!  Our pancakes didn’t run away and they tasted delicious!

We carried on with our story The Three Billy Goats Gruff and enjoyed acting out the story outdoors and trying to make bridges.  We had fun making “trip trap” noises.

Towards the end of the week we had great fun dancing to the songs from Frozen and using the percussion instruments.

Next week we are looking forward to World Book Day!  What will you wear?

Pre-school have had another busy week this week.  We made white playdough and put glitter in it to make it sparkle.  We then pretended that it was snow.  We made ice and put polar bears and penguins in the ice to continue our cold weather theme.Later in the week we bathed dolls.  That was lots of fun!    One of our favorite stories is Hurrah  for fish.  We decorated fish with stripes and spots for our bathroom wall.  We also had fun in the soft play

Hello everyone!  it’ amazing how time flies when you are having fun.  It is February already and we are taking names for children to start after Easter and in September.  Please share this information with any families who have children who are almost two.

This week we have continued to enjoy the story of The Three Little Pigs. We had lots of fun playing with straw and sticks and feeling the different textures.  Our pig faces are amazing.  We thought carefully about the materials we wanted to use for ears, eyes, nose and mouths.  In the sunshine we planted some primulas to make our outdoor area look pretty.  We remembered to water them as they were very thirsty.  We also had lots of fun play on our water wall in the outdoor area.  Today we baked some cakes and we are going to decorate them tomorrow.  Look out for next weeks installment and see how we decorate them.  Can you guess?
